Mersea Island is approximately 10 miles (16
kilometres) south of
Colchester.
As the main road turns right after crossing the Strood (land
bridge) turn left towards East Mersea.
Beware the Strood may flood at high tide.
Rewsalls Lane is the third turning on the right, just after the
East Mersea parish sign.
Access to Mersea Island Vineyard is on the right,
after the double bend through a farmyard, by the road across the
head of the 'old' field.
