ACCOMMODATION

The guest accommodation is accessed from the courtyard of the 10 acre working vineyard. The vineyard is an easy 10 minute walk to the beach and sea wall. Restaurants can be found in East and West Mersea. The ancient market town of Colchester is only a 9 mile drive away.

BED AND BREAKFAST

Mersea Island Vineyard offers three B & B rooms.
All with en-suite facilities which include a shower over the bath.
The rooms are centrally heated and comfortably furnished.
Tea and coffee making facilities as well as a colour television and hair drier are provided in each room.
This is a non-smoking establishment.
A full English breakfast is offered, but special dietary needs can be catered for.

Weekly lets are available in the ground floor, 2 bedroomed Vine Cottage or the first floor, 3 bedroomed Hop Loft.

Courtyard Entrance

This ground floor cottage forms part of the courtyard complex of our working vineyard and sleeps up to 4 people.
It comprises of a lounge/kitchen, 2 bedrooms (1 with double bed & 1 with twin beds) and a shower room with basin and w.c.
The kitchen is well equipped with a full size cooker, microwave oven and dishwasher.
The lounge area has a settee, 2 armchairs, colour television, music centre, table and chairs.
There is a separate laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer, iron and ironing board.
Price includes running hot water, bed linen (duvets) and towels. Electricity is supplied by coin-in-the-slot meter.

Please note that no smoking or pets allowed.

The lounge and double bedroom overlook a patio area, with outside table and chairs and it has extensive views over the vineyard and the Blackwater estuary.

THE HOP LOFT

There is a lounge with kitchen/dining area, 3 twin-bedded rooms, all with en-suite shower rooms with wash basin & w.c.

The lounge/dining area has a settee, armchairs, colour television, music centre, table and chairs.
